Dr. Sunita Devi is working as the faculty, in the Dept. of Rehabilitation Psychology at National Institute for Empowering the Persons with Intellectual Disability, DEPWD, under ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI. Presently she is working as a chief coordinator for research and development projects and M.Phil. Course coordinator at NIEPID. She has Ph.D. Psychology, M.Phil. Rehabilitation Psychology (Gold Medalist), NET (Psychology) and Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counselling from NIPCCD, New Delhi. She has over 20 years of work experience in the field of academics and industry as a counselling psychologist and a master trainer. She is a resource person with different Government and private organizations and conducted thousands of workshops on various topics related to psychology, life skills and soft skills. Her specialization and areas of research interests are guidance and counselling, Counselling and clinical psychology, rehabilitation psychology, school psychology and positive psychology. She has published and presented several research papers in national and international journals in the above areas. She has authored one book and several book chapters and psychological tests (TAMANNA-Aptitude Test, NIEPID Indian Test of Intelligence). She has been regularly featuring in DD news and other channels as an expert in the field of psychology.
